The brief
When a Yorkshire vineyard and brewery wanted help building its brand and growing sales through social media, I knew it had to have a family focus. The business’s strength is that it’s family-owned and run by three generations. So how could I focus on this while building engagement and promoting their products and vineyard tours?
The answer was a new spin on a ‘meet the team’ post. We introduced the dogs (and humans) who called the vineyard home, introducing followers to the family, building a warm and welcoming atmosphere and showing that this brand is more than its products, its a family. Plus, we could also answer one of their most commonly asked questions: ‘Can I bring my dog on a vineyard tour?’

Meet Ruby – pictured here with owner Tim in front of our cosy Arctic cabin.
While it might be our human colleagues who lead your tasting or tour, we have to make sure our canine team gets the credit it deserves.
Ruby is always here, greeting you with a friendly smile, a wag of the tail or guiding you to the Winehouse café. So we have to say ‘thanks for all your hard work, Ruby’.
And before you ask, yes, Ruby is always happy to make a new friend – so if you want to bring your four-legged companion along to your tour or tasting, you’re more than welcome.
